Did you sing that title like the song? I did as I was writing it.
I just wanted to apologize to my readers for my absence as of late. I know, it’s only been a couple of days, but I try to post at least once a day and my absence it only semi-excusable. Life, as everyone else’s, is crazy at the moment! Let me share (what I can anyway)!
- School for me restarted January 9th. That means reading text books (I hate reading text books), discussion questions online (again, I hate discussion questions), and meeting on campus one weekend per month. My weekend isn’t until the end of the month, but in the mean time, I am trying to read my text book, do my online discussion question and participation, all the while, doing everything else I try to do on a daily basis (ya know, work, blog, mommy, wife which includes cleaning, cooking, bill paying, grocery shopping).
- This entire week, my office has been sick. Well, I should say entire. There are four of us in my office. I have been here all week and another person has been here three days this week, but he remains locked in his office doing his job. My immediate employer (I call him my employer, but I’m a contractor so he really isn’t) had strep all week and the other one had a nasty cold all week. So, I was left to hold down the fort.
- Now that the office has returned to normal and they are no longer sick- my daughter has a cold with a barking cough (resulting in staying home from school today) and I have the beginnings of a sinus infection (I don’t get colds- I get sinus infections. It is a curse in my family)
- And then to top off the above… I am refusing to take any medication at this time until I get to the doctor because we may have a surprise that we weren’t exactly planning or expecting.
So, in essence, that is my life in an nutshell at the moment, but I need to get myself back into my routine. I love blogging, I love my readers, and I am getting back into the groove of things. So be prepared for some reading!!!
