5 Months Until Christmas!?

I just looked at the calendar and we have 5 months until Christmas! Can you believe it!? Time has flown by this year (and I’m secretly wishing time flies a little faster so I can meet baby #3 faster, but then that means Christmas and birthdays and aging and… Oye. Maybe time should slow down?)

Christmas around our house isn’t bad. Hubby has a large family so we draw names for one person and then do immediate family (the kids, parental units, siblings).

But then… you have friends and employers and if you run a business then you have employees and the list can really start to grow once you start going.

My previous employer was the best at gift giving. She always gave the greatest gifts that were personalized to my likes; Betty Boop stuff that I collect (*hint hint* people!), smoothies (who can resist smoothies) and sweets (anyway to a gal’s heart, right?) – especially chocolate!

One year she surprised me with Ferrero chocolates! Oh my goodness! Have you ever tried Ferrero chocolates? Delicious! I hoarded them because I didn’t want to share! No joke! I didn’t want anyone touching my chocolates so I hid them!

This year, I’m thinking that Ferrero’s Christmas Hampers would make a great gift for my employer who is not really my employer (his son contracted me formerly, but I am no longer contracted by his son, but employed by another company in the same office space – did that make sense?).

They look like such cute little gift boxes that I know are filled with some yummy goodies!

What do you give your employer for Christmas? (or the holiday season if you don’t celebrate Christmas?)

  1. We have a Christmas finger-food potluck at work several times during the Christmas season. That’s our gift to each other. It’s great because we all enjoy eating together and we don’t end up with a bunch of extra stuff!
