My babies are now 6 and 4, not much babies anymore. It makes me sad that my babies are kids now (although they both will tell you that they will always be mommy’s babies).
Hubby and I are discussing baby number three so we shall see if our family is going to grow any time soon!
One of my favorite things to do when I was pregnant was to follow my pregnancy week by week. I loved being able to read how big (or small) my baby was; what features my baby had; what functions my baby was able to do.
I was eager to jump into any mommy communities to learn from other moms and be able to talk with other moms about pregnancy and labor. I was constantly reading new things making sure that my baby was healthy, that I was eating the proper foods – I guess you could say I was slightly obsessed with the whole pregnancy ordeal – more so with my son than with my daughter.
My daughter’s pregnancy wasn’t great. It was my first, it wasn’t smooth and the doctor was a real whack job.
My son’s pregnancy was definitely something I was more involved and interested in so I was involved any way I could to make sure I was “up to date” on what was happening to me and my baby.
I think if we do have baby number three, I will be more involved in mommy communities to educate myself further on things I would like to do differently this time around!
What kind of things did you do during your pregnancy? Did you join a mommy community or follow your pregnancy week by week?
