I have seen Colortime Crafts around, but was kind of on the edge about the entire concept. I mean, don’t get me wrong – it looked like fun, but I’ve never actually colored on tote bags, pillowcases or even t-shirts for that matter. It kind of seems contradictory as a parent. You tell your child not to color on anything but paper, but here is a company who provides you fabric to color on. To show your individualistic style.
From Colortime Crafts:
We give our customers the chance to color and decorate their own t-shirts, pillowcases, backpacks, tote bags, bandanas, and more for parties, slumber parties, and scout meetings with our permanent fabric markers.
Since 1990 over 2 million children and adults throughout the country have enjoyed Colortime Crafts And Markers ™. With a broad line of products, along with our special Colortime™ quick-drying permanent fabric markers, we have provided our customers the opportunity to take home a very special keepsake. Also, we are a licensed vendor of the Girl Scouts of America.
I was provided a “recycle” tote and Colortime Crafts bright markers.
I have to say I was kind of selfish with this. I wouldn’t let the kids color. I know, I know. I’m a bad mommy, but I wanted to color and have fun! Is that so wrong? (And can I just add that I had more fun coloring my tote bag then I’ve had in a while!?)
I loved how it turned out!!!
I wasn’t sure if the markers would bleed so I put some papers in the tote as a precaution. I am happy to say that it bled through very little. You can see in the picture, there are a few spots (literally, very small spots) but it was minimal.
I highly recommend Colortime Crafts and will be getting some more items for my kids (and myself!) And what’s great is you can purchase a large amount which is great for parties or sleepovers (or classrooms or Girl/Boy Scouts or any other gathering!)

I love this concept. One of my faorite things when I was kid was the cups you could color!
This seems like a ton of fun! I love to color and it would be so cool to have a functional and personal piece of artwork to carry around
My kids would love to color their own t-shirts
Thanks for the giveaway.
