Five Question Friday

I have not linked up with Five Question Friday for a few weeks now. I think it has to do with my severe lack of motivation. It really is interfering with my every day life! For awhile there I thought I was kicking it to the curb, but apparently not! If anyone has any suggestions for finding my motivation that has run away and gone missing, please tell me now!

1. What do you enjoy doing the most with your spouse? Hmmm… lately? The last two nights, after the kids have gone to bed, we have been playing Super Mario Brothers on the Wii together. It really is fun. We deleted one of the saved games so we could start from the very beginning and play through and see how well we do. It has been fun just being able to relax with him and play video games!

2. How do you eat your taco? From the top or from the side? From the side. Why would you eat the taco from the top? That’s just crazy talk!

3. Have you ever shut off the basement light and ran like a fool because you knew someone was down there and would get you? I don’t think I have recently as an adult, but when I lived at my mom’s house (which was up until I was 19) I sure as heck did. Oh, and at my grandparents’ house I did. Although, we didn’t really have “basements”. In Minnesota, people actually have “downstairs” which is like a living room, bedrooms, bathroom, etc. on the lower level of the home. Didn’t make it any less scarier though! LOL

4. If you could change one thing about you what would it be and why? I think it would be my negative personality. I can get pretty nasty when my “bad” personality comes out. I don’t mean to be, but it happens.

5. What age do you think is appropriate to have the “bird and the bees” talk with your children? Oh wow. That is difficult. Especially since I am currently expecting #3, the kids want to know how the baby got into my tummy. Buddy (4 years old) thinks that Daddy opened up my tummy and put the baby in my tummy. (Good thinking, right?) Unfortunately, Buggy (6 years old) is a little too smart for her age so it is trying to figure out what to say and what is appropriate to say. Not to mention the lack of privacy so we’ve had to have the talk of when she gets old how she will have that special time of the month. Oye. I have a feeling I am having this conversation earlier than I want!
