#NaturalLiving with my Aqua Vessel and Abe’s Market

I love my water, but I am super picky about it. So picky that every month, I purchase one of those big 33 ounce water bottles from the convenience store that I then wash and reuse for the entire month (I usually get a new one on my school weekends). I refuse to drink tap water and I will not fill my water bottle from anything but RO water that we fill our water cooler at home with. (Yes, I am horribly picky about my water, but back home, sometimes water was really nasty!)

I am also super picky about my water bottles. Plastic ones make your water taste like plastic. Steel ones just taste funny period. I just can’t win between nasty water and nasty bottles making nasty water.

But, I have to say, I am highly impressed with my Aqua Vessel Insulated Stainless Steel Filter water bottle I just received from Abe’s Market!

Okay, so I got it, rinsed it all out, washed it (well, I had hubby do all that). He then filled it from water from our water cooler (that doesn’t actual cool water) and then put it in the fridge. I let it sit for an hour or so, took it out to drink and got gray water. Talk about a freak out. (Note that the water was cold, but it was gray… that goes right along with my nasty tasting water!)

Apparently when reading the tag, I missed the section that said something along the lines of carbon dust (harmless) being left over in the filter. I took the filter back out of the bottle and ran it through the water for a few minutes until the water turned clear and then put it back in the bottle. (I’ve had no gray water since, thank you!)

I have to tell you, I am highly impressed by this bottle.

(A) The water tastes like water. It’s good.

(B) Regardless of how long I let is sit out, it’s still fridge water cold. I did a little test today. Since I have a tendency to fill up my water bottle and then let is sit for several hours before getting around to drinking it; I filled the bottle with fridge cold water this morning at 10:15am. I left it on the counter and went back at 5:30pm to see if it was still fridge cold and it was! I was so impressed! I know now that I can take it to work or school and not worry about it not being refrigerated and still have cold water!

I am also confident enough that I can take this to school with me and fill it with water fountain water and not die (or be sick with the taste of nasty water!)

I am in love with my new water bottle and will be taking this bad boy with me everywhere! It has an easy to carry grip at the top; comes with a flexi straw to attach to the filter as well as a straight straw so you can use it without the filter as well; and is super easy to clean! I am confident that with the filter, I will have yummy tasting water and that with the insulation, I will always have cold water!
