Upcycling Nature: Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer {Craft}

My mother in law helps watch my kids when I go to school one weekend per month so she is always coming up with new ideas to craft with my kiddos to keep them busy. This past weekend, she had a new idea that blew me away!

Material:

Palm Tree bark
Small to Medium Black pom-poms or Googley eyes
Large Red pom-pom
Glue (I suggest super glue or a hot glue gun)
Decorations (optional)

Directions:

As you can see, the palm tree bark will be the head. Where it separates will be the top, or the antlers.
Using super glue or a hot glue gun, glue the black pom-poms or the googley eyes where you would like the eyes, below the antlers.
Using super glue or a hot glue gun, glue the red pom-pom on the bottom for the nose.
Some decoration ideas could include a poinsetta in their “antlers” or, as my mother in law and children did, use some gray felt for eye brows/eye lashes (I am not 100% sure what they were going for here!)
