Deborah Brown’s Paradise series is packed with Action, Romance, Intrigue, Mystery and Suspense. Oh… did I forget to mention the humor makes for a fast and enjoyable read? These books will be difficult to put down!
Greed in Paradise, is the fifth novel in Deborah Brown’s Paradise series, which can be also read as a stand alone book.
I have a lot to say about this one.
Greed in Paradise is the 5th book in the Paradise Series… where to start.
I didn’t feel the mystery was a ‘big’ mystery this time. I felt like maybe the previous books had a ‘better, bigger’ mystery, but I enjoyed it all the same. How can you not when Madison and Fabiana are together?
I will say that there were a couple parts where the suspense was high.
There were a few stories in one which is the usual for the Paradise Series and it definitely keeps you on your toes.
As usual, there were your typical shady characters and plenty of laughs to go along with it.
We still have Madison’s mom who always makes me giggle. Not to mention Didier. I truly adore him and his little attitude.
I love the characters that we have met in the past, the characters we have grown to know well and of course, the characters we have fallen in love with.
When you read a Paradise series book, you feel like your family.
I love that the series has a little side bit of romance added in as well.
In the beginning, I was totally team Zach. And then Creole showed up and I was just as torn as Madison. They both sound delectable.
Unfortunately, as time has gone on, I have found a hatred for Zach and frankly, never wish to ‘hear’ (or read) his name again. Creole, however, is welcome any time! Unfortunately, I don’t think there are men around here in the real world that can fit his description.
I do have to say, I was quite angered when this book ended. I felt it just – ended. To be honest, I’m not sure if I was mad that it felt like it just ended or if I was mad because I didn’t want it to end.
Either way, I was not happy when it ended and I cannot wait to start the next book!
“If you have a broken heart and want to eat a bag of Kit-Kats while wishing for someone else’s life, then you need this book.”
“Well written, a wide-range of unforgettable characters, heat and sex, then add a slice of humor that makes the romp an even cheekier ride.”
“If you’re lying by a pool somewhere in the Florida Keys…you’ll want this book to take your mind off the mosquitoes.”

About the Author
I’ve been writing, in one way or another for as long as I can remember; writing poetry, short stories, a romance novel secretly stashed under the bed and sappy love letters. Fiction should be fun. I wanted to create the perfect beach book, to make the reader laugh, cry and cheer… and then run out and tell their friends about it.
My love of reading began when I was seven, the day I opened the cover of my first Mrs. Piggle Wiggle book. Mrs. P gave lessons to other children in how to behave and to me I learned to love the written word. I live with my family and demon children aka rescue cats in South Florida.
