A fellow blogger has shared the trials and triumphs of her 11 year old daughter’s bullying (feel free to read about the horrific ordeal here).
Her daughter was bullied. Horribly. In the end, she had to transfer schools because nothing was being done. I give mom major props for the steps she took to remedy the situation, but everything she did was met with resistance. It was horrible having to watch, hundreds of miles away, the pain this little girl went through, but she made it. She is a tough girl just like her mom and I am so happy to report that she has turned such a horrific situation into something so positive.
11 year old Jenelle has turned her bullying situation into something creative and beautiful! She hand crafts all the items that you can find for sale here at Slap Dash Things.
In addition to making these beautiful pieces, Miss Jenelle donates $1.00 of each piece to anti-bullying organizations.
The pieces are one of a kind, beautiful pieces made from Jenelle and her Etsy store – Slap Dash Things – will be holding their Grand Opening Friday, February 1st! Better yet, you can get 10% off your purchase using coupon code LEELS.
I personally have not had a chance to purchase one of Jenelle’s wonderful pieces of work (they have been sold out since I learned of this great project) but I will be taking full advantage during their Grand Opening to get not only myself, but my daughter some pieces as well.
I’m hoping to not only contribute to Jenelle’s wonderful work, but to help support anti-bulling and give my daughter a talking piece. She may be 7 years old, but we have had multiple talks about bullying and it is not something we take lightly in our home.
I am happy to know Jenelle’s mom and to help support Jenelle, Slap Dash Things, and anti-bullying all with this one great project!
Be sure to check out the Grand Opening, use coupon code LEELS to get 10% off your purchase and please, share with your friends, family, and fans!
