I swear – a day late and a dollar short!

I missed last weeks update due to school and being sick so this week will have to make up for last week and this week. And of course, I’m a day late anyway (better than a week late though, right?)

I am finally feeling better after being horribly sick with a sinus infection. (You can read all about that fiasco
!)

I am still on my antibiotics, but am feeling much, much better.

Last Wednesday, we made an emergency doctor appointment with the midwife because I had been having some “spotting”. Spotting is new to me – I hadn’t had it with either of my first two so it was definitely a scare for me.

We went in and had an ultrasound. I am happy to report everything is good. Baby was very active with a viable heart beat so, so far so good (although I know that can change at any time).

I have been feeling more nauseous than usual, but not really “sick”, just nauseous. No morning sickness so that is good!

Everything else is going well! We go back in to the doctor in a week and a half for the 12 week check up. Routine appointment. I am counting down to the 20 week appointment! Only 8 weeks and 6 days left LOL! We have a boy named picked out, but hubby isn’t keen on my girl name so I’m eager to find out what we’re having. I

it’s a girl, but I’m secretly hoping for boy (only because my boy name totally rocks!)

In all seriousness though, I will be happy with either gender just so long as it’s a human baby!

PS: 11 weeks means we have upgraded from a green olive (9 weeks) to a prune (10 weeks) to now being the size of a lime! Woohoo! Moving on up!
