Today’s prompt is a self portrait and 5 random facts about me…

Well, here is the

self portrait

I hate self portraits. I hate photos of me, period. But, this one was a random, bored at work photo that turned out pretty well. It’s a favorite.

Now, 5 random facts about me… I am hoping to not repeat myself, but here goes:

Random Fact #1:

I was almost kicked out of the eleventh grade for skipping too much school. Yet, somehow, I managed to not only remain in the eleventh grade and graduate high school, but I was able to take a smaller course load in my senior year because I had too many credits. Imagine that.

Random Fact #2:

I only had detention once in high school. It was my junior year for… skipping too much school or the forged note I wrote excusing me from school to skip!

Random Fact #3:

I am probably one of the most indecisive people you will ever meet. I have always been that way – as long as I can remember anyway. And not when it comes to making decisions for myself. When it’s myself, I’m very impulsive. It’s decisions that involve other people. I always fear that if I make a decision, the other people/persons will be unhappy so if I let them decide, they will be happy and whether I am happy or not does not matter. It really frustrates other people, but that’s how I have always been.

Random Fact #4:

I would much rather play a sport than watch a sport. I started playing softball when I was in the 2nd grade and played through my senior year of high school. I stopped for a year before finding an adult female team to play on, stopped for a year or two before finding an adult co-ed team to play on and then stopped when I got pregnant with Buggy. I hope to start again after the birth of #3.

I played basketball from 4th grade-ish until ninth grade and I played volleyball in my ninth grade year of school. I also played sand volleyball with friends quite frequently for a few months, but haven’t played in too long.

Random Fact #5:

I am by no means a vegan or vegetarian, but I have a strong dislike for meat. I will not touch raw meat – I hate, hate, hate it. And there are some meats that I just will not eat and others that are eaten very, very rarely. Ground beef is one that I can eat no problem, but anything outside of that, I’m pretty picky.
