Hubby’s parents are moving and so we have considered moving as well. With that, we are hoping to buy our first house together. With that, there are a list of requirements that our forever home needs to have and a big requirement of any house is the kitchen.
Up until this year, we have always been the ones to host Christmas Eve dinner, Christmas morning brunch, and two days later, K’s birthday dinner. That is a lot of time spent in the kitchen over three days. Not to mention hubby loves to cook year round so the

Our Kitchen Must Haves
Must Have #1:
Must be large enough that two people can move comfortably within the kitchen.
Must Have #2:
I want an island so that the kids can help make things without being near the stove. Or for space to cool my cookies and baked goods away from the cooking area.
Must Have #3:
Lots of counter space. As is, I have a lot of appliances (like my Kitchen Aid stand mixer) that need counter space.
Must Have #4:
Cupboard space. Lots of cupboard space. I feel like I never have enough cupboards to store everything.
Must Have #5:
Hubby wants stainless steel everything.
Must Have #6:
A dishwasher that works. Our current dishwasher isn’t the greatest and the child dishwasher complains far too often.
Must Have #7:
A fridge that preferably has the ice and water dispenser in the door. Also has a large enough freezer to hold our food!
