Thank Goodness it’s Back to School with Fruit of the Loom
Disclosure: I received a gift card from Fruit of the Loom in exchange for writing this blog post. Although this post is sponsored, all opinions are my own. #TGIBTS
It’s that time of year again – back to school. My kids have already returned to school as a third grader and a first grader so now I am home with just the baby.
After a summer home with all three kids, the constant whining and bickering, you can gaurantee I was shouting “thank goodness it’s back to school” (with
, of course!)
Okay, so I wasn’t shouting the “with Fruit of the Loom” but I was thinking it!
Last year, Fruit of the Loom helped me get school supplies and clothes for my kids so when they offered to help again this year, I couldn’t turn them down!
To celebrate going back to school, Fruit of the Loom is adding 3 extra pair of socks or underwear to their packages!
Our entire family got in on this –
We were also able to pick up school supplies to donate to Buggy and Buddy’s teachers!
Lucky for us, this is the first year that the school has supplied the students with their school supplies so back to school shopping was fairly easy. We stocked up on the necessities (socks and underwear) and got the supplies for the teachers.
The kids started their school routine a the last week of July to prepare them for their first day back on August 6th. That meant bedtime was now at 7pm instead of 9pm.
Unfortunately, my kids apparently missed the memo that when put to bed at 7pm, they are to sleep at 7pm. The night before school, Buddy didn’t fall asleep until 11:30pm and Buggy was still awake in bed when I went to bed at 12:30am. Needless to say, I had some ornery kiddos the next day after school and 7pm bedtime has been a breeze since.
The night before their first day of school, we got their outfits picked out, tennis shoes ready, lunches made, and backpacks packed.
Aside from the bedtime struggle,
made back to school a breeze for me!
