Healthy Living with Juicing
Disclosure: This is a sponsored post.
One of my resolutions for 2013 is to eat healthier and all around be healthier.
In researching eating healthier (growing my own vegetables and herbs, cooking, etc.) I have learned that juicing seems to be a new “fad” of sorts.
In short, juicing is extracting the juices from fruits and vegetables to create a drinkable product enriched with nutrients and vitamins. I have to be honest, aside from smoothies and orange juice, I have never had anything “juiced” – certainly not vegetables! But, I’m willing to give it a try and think it would make my morning routines a little quicker and easier when it comes to breakfast time!
With juicing, you need a good juicer. And like every other appliance out there, there are millions to choose from!
I am a small appliance addict. No joke. In the last year, I have obtained at least 5 new small appliances – and I’m not done!
I’m now on the hunt for a juicer – something like this one – so I can try this healthy lifestyle they call “juicing”.
And the bonus – my kids love smoothies, but won’t eat their vegetables! I can only imagine the juicing I could do to hide the vegetables so the kids get all of their nutrients in a day!
Do you juice? What are some of your favorite recipes? Leave them in the comments so I can try them out!
