Homemade Pizza Pockets – Life as Leels

Homemade Pizza Pockets

We love pizza in our house, but we all like something a little different so when we can make something personalized to each family member’s liking, we do it!

Last week, we made homemade pizza pockets, each personalized for everyone of us!

Ingredients:

Refrigerator biscuits

Pizza toppings: sauce, pepperoni, green olives, sausage, etc.

Pizza cheese or Mozzarella cheese

Butter (optional for those who do not like sauce!)

Directions:

Remove the biscuits from the can.

Flatten one biscuit at a time to make a large, thin circle.

Buggy does not like sauce so her “crust” had butter and Mozzarella cheese. Buddy doesn’t like pepperoni so his had little sauce and Mozzarella cheese. I made sauce, pepperoni, cut up green olives, and Mozzarella cheese while hubby had sauce, pepperoni, Mozzarella cheese and pepper flakes.

After filling the inside, fold over crust over filling to make the “pocket”.

Unfortunately, the first pan I pinched the ends closed which did not work so well. With the second pan, I used a fork to pinch the ends closed which seemed to work much better.

We baked our pizza pockets for 10-15 minutes on 350 degrees or until the crust began to become lightly browned.

They turned out delicious, easy and personalized!
