Free Printable: In Case of Emergency Car Seat Sticker

Knock on wood we – as a family – haven’t been in any car accidents other than maybe a fender bender or two where there was no damage and no real cause for concern. (And I specify “we” as a family because I have had an accident or two when I was younger.)

However, hubby and the kids were in an accident (not hubby’s fault) a few years ago. Luckily, they were all fine (our vehicle not so much) but it had me wondering what would happen if they weren’t okay? There’s always the “what if”.

My kids don’t carry identification on them – how would anyone know who they were or how to help them?

Hence, the “in case of emergency car seat sticker”.

Now, you can find the actual stickers on line and pay people to purchase these stickers, but I have made this one a printable for you.

All you have to do is click on the image below which will take you to a 5 by 3 size image (think note card size) that you can print off.

You can fill it out and then tape it to your child’s car seat. No money necessary!

Be sure to put the child’s allergies – especially to medications – and if the child has any medical history that emergency workers would need to be aware of or may make their job easier (ie: diabetic, Autistic, has a history of seizures, etc.)

Kids no longer in car seats? I’ve got you covered!

In fact, I have the whole family covered!

You can use this
to fill out each family member’s information and then place it in a folder or in a 3-ring binder in your vehicles.

Be sure to update the information as needed. If you include a picture, be sure to update the picture as your child grows so that they can be easily identified.

While it is not 100% fool proof, it will help ease your mind in the event there ever was a “what if” situation!
