Allstate Insurance is changing their outlook to “Good Hands for the Good Life” and focusing more on the positive in life. Yes, there is negativity constantly lurking around every corner, but when you sit down and really think about it – there is generally more good in life than there is bad.

I believe for every bad, there is at least double (if not more) the good.

I am a firm believer that everything happens for one reason or another.

An outsider may not know the reason and we may not know the reason right then and there, but I believe at some point in life, the reason will be revealed to us in one way or another.

I also believe in having no regrets. If we had regrets, we wouldn’t be where or who we are today.

My life is a prime example of things happening for a reason and having no regrets.

I come from a not-so-great home life with a father who was an alcoholic and I didn’t get along with my mother. I finally left my home state after being involved in one of the worst relationships I could have ever put myself into. He was emotionally abusive, he was constantly cheating on me with other women, lying to me – he broke what little trust in man kind that I ever had.

Many people have asked if I could do it all over again, would I do it differently?

Nope.

While I long for a better mother daughter relationship, I believe that the negative relationship with my mother has made me strive to have a more positive relationship with my children.

Having a father who is an alcoholic has taught me many things over my life.

And that nasty relationship? As bad as those two years in my life were, I have so much more positive.

I moved from my home state to Arizona. I met my husband here in Arizona and together, we have a life and three beautiful children. I wouldn’t change that for the world.

I am who I am today and I am where I am today because of the negative that has happened in my life. All that negativity has brought me positive – a positive place in life.

I survived all that negativity to create such positive. I think I could classify that as the
.
