Day 15: Write 15 interesting facts about yourself.

1: I was born and raised in Minnesota before moving to Wisconsin for two months. I have lived in Arizona since March 2003.

2. I started dating my husband when I was one month shy of my 21st birthday; married him at 22; had my daughter at 22; and my son at 25. I am currently 28.

3. I am an only, oldest, and middle child. My mother and father had me- I am my father’s only child. My mother had a set of twins with her second husband making me the oldest of her children. My stepfather had two children from a previous marriage who are older than me, thus making me a middle child.

4. I work full time outside of the home as an administrative assistant/office manager. I also work full time in the home as an Independent Consultant for Thirty One; owner/operator of Occasional Cakes & Makes; blogger; and mommy.

5. I am a full time student going for my Master’s degree in mental health counseling.

6. My goal upon graduation (a work in progress to start now and be complete by graduation) is to start an outreach program for suicide survivors. My goals is to have the outreach be contacted upon the suicide so that someone can be there to support the family of the deceased.

7. I am a field advocate for the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention.

8. I currently own two cats and two dogs.

9. I LOVE social networking! I have generalized anxiety and occasionally my social anxiety flares up so I find it easier to communicate via social networking.

10. Oddly enough, with my anxiety, I HATE talking on the phone! I love to social network, I can ramble all day in email, or chat your ear off in person. Just do not give me a phone!

11. As of June 2010, I could type 94 words per minute with a 97% accuracy rate. I have been doing transcription for the past 5 years and can guarantee that my typing speed has increased in the past year. (Transcription is one of my current job duties.)

12. I am an adult child of an alcoholic.

13. At the age of 28, I have experienced the loss at least 18 people (doing a quick count- came up with 18 deceased people in my life).

15. The one thing I look forward to every week is playing cards on Friday and/or Saturday with my hubby and our best friends.
