BBQing with Country Bob’s

Hubby and his dad love to cook – especially when it comes to BBQing.
When I was provided the opportunity to review
, I jumped at the opportunity. I figured hubby would jump all over the chance to try a new sauce while BBQing and I could of course find a new fan in his dad as well.
I on the other hand, had great plans to prepare some new recipes that can be found on Country Bob’s website and introduce something new to my family.
Unfortunately, with the chaos of the holidays (we had not only Christmas Eve and Christmas day festivities, but Buggy’s birthday was on the 27th and then the in laws left town for 5 days) we weren’t able to try anything new and hubby kept forgetting we had the sauce (I’m kicking him for not using it on the chicken for Buggy’s birthday dinner!)
Fortunately, I remembered it the night we had burgers and replaced my usual ketchup condiment with
Country Bob’s All Purpose sauce
.
I thought it was absolutely delicious and will be using Country Bob’s All Purpose sauce as a ketchup replacement for other things. It tasted great on my burger and I even used it to dip my tots.
I couldn’t get Buggy to try it and there was no way Buddy would try something new.
Hubby said he liked it and that it tasted like a sweeter A-1 sauce. I do not remember what A-1 tastes like since it’s been so long, but I do know that Country Bob’s had a sweeter taste, but wasn’t like a typical BBQ sauce.
The consistency was thinner than BBQ sauce, but it did have a hint of sweet followed by… tang? I wouldn’t say bitter, but maybe tangy.
I really did enjoy Country Bob’s All Purpose sauce and you will find it as a condiment on my table. I am also looking forward to trying some of the yummy recipes on Country Bob’s website and concocting my own!
