An Honorary Promotion
For the last year and a half, maybe longer, I have been working with some wonderful ladies that I have bonded with online. (I’m trying to recall how I even met them and it’s been so long that I’m not sure how we stumbled across each other!)
These wonderful ladies introduced me to Operation: Support a Cancer Cutie (OPSACC) – a non-profit organization that provides personalized “Baskets of Hope” to children with cancer and other life-altering health conditions, as well as surprise gifts for their parents and siblings too! Each of our Cancer Cuties are nominated by friends, family or faithful online followers for their outstanding attitudes, uplifting spirit, and determination to fight their condition along with the support they provide for other cancer patients!

In the last couple of years, I have become very passionate about childhood cancer. People spend so much time focusing on “pink” and “breast cancer” that we forget that our children suffer from the same ailment and have to suffer through the same type of treatment. None of it is fair for an adult and certainly not fair for a child which is why I got so involved with OPSACC.
In the last year, I was considered an “official” member of OPSACC, but as of Thursday evening, I was asked and given the honorary promotion of being a part of the OPSACC Board of Directors.
I feel so privileged to be given such an honorary promotion in something that is so amazing!

We are constantly in need of donations – products or monetary – to put in the baskets, purchase items to put in the baskets, and to ship the baskets. Every little item or dollar adds up for these courageous cuties!
