Disclosure: We received a beautiful bacon bouquet of Chef’s Cut Real Bacon Jerky in exchange for this post.
Hubby got so spoiled for Father’s Day that I didn’t even get a chance to share everything he got. But that’s okay. This next gift is great for any time of year – Father’s Day, birthday – you name it! And it doesn’t need to be just for dad! The entire family will enjoy it! I promise!
A Bacon Bouquet for Everyone
Chef’s Cut Real Jerky was created by Chef Blair Swiler and Dennis Riedel. Swiler was caddying alongside Riedel, and shared his homemade jerky with him -real cuts of premium beef, right there on the golf course.
They teamed up and began smoking and selling Chef’s Cut Real Jerky to golf and country clubs across the United States.
Today, their vision is to change the way people, on and beyond the golf course, think about jerky by creating the best tasting, highest quality jerky on the market.
Chef’s Cut Real Jerky only uses hand-cut, premium pieces of meats that are marinated with real ingredients and cured using a proprietary smoking process.
They aim to make a real, chef-created snack that can be taken where chefs can’t.
Hubby’s bacon bouquet of
showed up in a large box, all set up and ready to go. (And let me warn you that if this is a gift for someone you live with – the box comes highly labeled on the outside so make sure they aren’t home when you receive it!)
Some of the pieces had come apart, but it was super easy to assemble. The rods go into the wooden base and then the packs of bacon jerky were put onto the rods, making it look like a bouquet. The entire set up is incredibly nice and the base and rods can easily be reused for another bouquet (just order more jerky) or can be upcycled into a new project! (I’m sure you will see hubby’s used on
at some point!)
The bouquet came with two packs of three different flavors (six packs total) – Maple, Sriracha, and Applewood.
I will say, hubby was nice enough to share one of is Applewood packs with me, but he probably shouldn’t have. It has taken all my resolve to not take the other bag!
The jerky is a very thin bacon which I really liked. I am not a huge fan of the really dry, thick, hard to chew jerky. (I mean, don’t get me wrong, it’s good, but dang; It’s hard!) Chef’s Cut Real Bacon Jerky was very thin and easy to chew. It was oh so sweet with enough spice to give it a little kick.
Words do not do the flavor justice.
It has a perfect sweetness that I just can’t explain and the pepper gave it just enough to give the sweet a kick, but not light my mouth on fire.
Hubby’s bacon bouquet has been sitting on his dresser looking pretty! I highly recommend that if a person in your life is a jerky fan – they must try
. Hands down the best I have ever had!
