Angels {Children’s Book Review}
Did you know that angels of all kinds are everywhere? “Some are big, some are tiny. They’re all so bright and very shiny.” This lyrical, breezy, and nondenominational picture book introduces children and adults to a magical place which radiates warmth, love, and caring throughout its colorful and delicate pages. With its rich paintings, readers are transported through many colorful scenes, places and seasons to see how angels work behind the scenes, weaving their graces throughout the world.
Through Angels, readers can experience a world of gentle wonder, beauty, and comfort that makes this a perfect bedtime story. “Angels, angels, always near, protecting you, my special dear!”
My Thoughts:
It took Buggy (age 7) only moments to read, but she liked it. She is more religious then I would say I am, I am more spiritual, but she is aware of Angels and enjoyed reading this book.
It is a very short, quick book to read with beautiful illustrations and cute lyrical, rhyming words which some may say is not suitable for older children, but I disagree. I think this is a great book for any and all ages because of the beautiful illustrations and the whimsical flow.
The book is an easy enough reader that I’m sure as soon as Buddy stops being stubborn, he will be able to read by the end of this school year (kindergarten). The words were not too big and the vocabulary is perfect for young children.
As an open minded, spiritual person, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would recommend it for all.
