I have made it known the last couple of years that I have gotten rid of New Year resolutions and have decided to make goals for myself. One of my biggest goals the past couple of years have been
.

Now with Walgreens Balance Rewards for healthy choices, you can use these apps and devices to earn rewards for making healthy choices!

With the new Balance Rewards for healthy choices, you can manually enter your activity, water intake, and health goals; and earn balance rewards for those healthy choices and other rewardable activities!

I earned 270
when I set my goal of walking 1 mile per day for the entire month of September which I have pledged to do for Alex’s Lemonade Stand in attempt to raise awareness for Childhood Cancer! Talk about a win-win for me!

The activities that you enter allow you to keep little notes as well as information on how you are feeling that day to help you work towards your goals.

Additionally, the below apps and devices can help achieve your health goals!

Apps

Some of my favorite apps help keep me accountable.

I can share with friends, challenge friends, and share on social media. It allows me to be more accountable both to myself and to my peers.

Devices

There are all kinds of devices that can be used to help you keep track of your fitness goals.

Personally for me, I attempted a Fitbit Flex and it wasn’t for me. I am hoping to eventually get the Fitbit One, but for now, a pedometer from Walgreens helps me keep track of my miles.

With a pedometer, I am able to manually enter my walking miles in the BR healthy choices app, but there are devices that you connect to the program.

No matter what app or device you choose to help hold you accountable (or none at all) definitely take advantage of the Balance Rewards for
to earn those rewards to be used at Walgreens. It’s a nice surprise when I run in for something and get money off my purchase because I have balance rewards I forgot I had!

I shared my September goal with you; it’s your turn to share with me. What is your September goal?
