With back to school means home lunches and after school snacks.

I don’t know about you, but we struggle with lunch and after school snacks that the kids like and aren’t the same thing day in and day out.

I rounded up some posts with some snack ideas and of course, drew on our own to come up with a fun list of snacks that you can send to school with your kid or have for an after school snack!

You can check out Simmworks Family Blog for more
, but here are some of our favorites:

– Pudding

– Fruit Bars (Nutrigrain type)

– Fruit (apples, pears, etc.)

– Applesauce

– Crackers (Ritz, Cheez Its, etc.)

– Veggies (celery, carrots, etc.)

– Fruit cups/pouches

– Raisins

– Popcorn

– Yogurt/Go-gurt

– Cheese

– Nuts (peanuts, mixed nuts)

– Granola Bars

– Fruit snacks

– Trail mix

– Toast

– Slushies/Smoothies

– Seeds (sunflower, pumpkin)

– Chips (potato or our new favorite,
!)

We were recently provided:

Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chips in Garden Ranch

– Add a giant crunch to snack time with the delicious taste of roasted bell peppers and ranch flavor from Green Giant.

Multigrain Sweet Potato Chips in Barbecue

– Taste the Giant flavors of delicious sweet potatoes and smoky barbecue in your new favorite veggie snack chips.

Initially, the kids and I tried them and we tried the multigrain sweet potato chips first.

First, let me just say that I have never eaten sweet potatoes so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but, I am happy to report that I didn’t notice a “bad” flavor of any sort!

The barbecue flavor has a little kick and the kids and I all complained of our mouths getting a little heated after a bit, but that didn’t stop us from eating the chips!

It was actually quite comical because we would eat a handful and then complain of the heat in our mouths and say we were done, but would find our hands back in the bag! They were absolutely delicious! (And after hubby tried them later in the day, he concurred!)

The roasted veggie tortilla chips were absolutely delicious and another one that we could not get our hands out of the bag! (And again, hubby concurred!)

I can’t wait to try the other flavors and even Buddy asked if we could go to the store to buy more so he could put them in his lunch. (And as I’m typing this post, he’s supposed to be getting ready for bed, but instead keeps stealing the chips out of the bag!)

What are your favorite snacks for back to school?
