My Review

I love that each book in this large installment can be read as a stand alone so you are never missing anything or feel lost when you pick up the next book. (And even if you read each installment but there has been a gap between books, you aren’t lost because it’s like starting anew!)

I love that each book in this large installment can be read altogether and you get to catch up on past, present, and future characters. For example, I recall Drake and Serena from Desiree and Emery’s stories so it’s nice to read Drake and Serena’s story, but also catch up on Desiree, Rick, Emery, Dean, Violet, and Mira’s lives.

Seeing as I recall comments from previous books from Drake’s point of view (or I guess more or less Rick and Dean’s point of view); it was nice to have a second view point in this.

This was such a sweet read. I love how strong the men try to be, but it never lasts long. And Serena was just as strong with a trunk full of baggage that Drake had already seen her through. They are the best of friends and it makes their coming together that much sweeter.

The romance and heat are enough to make you blush, but not enough to make you uncomfortable (in my opinion).

I am a huge fan of this series and fall more and more in love with the author, the romance, and the characters with each new book.
