Being a parent, life is full of big and little moments. Sometimes, we get too busy with life and we blow off the big moments or don’t see the little moments thinking that we will have more time later or that these moments will occur again.

We don’t stop and realize that the moments we should be cherishing are every moment no matter how big or how little. We should be cherishing the big and the little moments of parenting.

As a parent, we need to learn to slow down, breath, take our time, and take in our surroundings no matter how big or little and hold on to them forever.

I know for me, I am grasping at every cherished memory I can. The kids have all gotten older. Buggy is now 8, Buddy is now 6, and Baby Girl is now 1! Where has the time gone!?

They are all so unique and I love to just watch them and listen to them. Nothing fascinates me more than watching the wheels in their head turning.

Buggy continues to surprise me with her intelligence. She is advancing very well in school and is working ahead of the class. She is going to be a rockstar one day and loves to spend her time “writing music” or writing spells – a new hobby she has acquired.

Buddy has learned how to read and has been reading me books! For a little boy who wanted nothing to do with Kindergarten or learning, he is doing fabulously in school and has developed a new love for reading!

Baby Girl is growing her vocabulary and mimics people around her. She continues to amaze all of us every day. She loves everyone and is the best cuddle buddy around! She’s full of life and spunk!

All three continue to build such a strong relationship with one another. They don’t always get along (especially the only two) but there is nothing they wouldn’t do for one another and they always have fun together!

I love all three of my kids and try to remember on a daily basis to slow down and take it all in. Some days I fail, but some days, I exceed!
