Children!

Sometimes, it is really hard not to laugh at the things they say and do! Here are two examples:
My daughter is in kindergarten and they have a “cube” system. They start the day with five cubes. If they misbehave, a cube gets taken away. At the end of the day, if you have all five cubes, you get a stamp on your hand. If three or four are removed, you get a letter home.
Well, one of my daughter’s classmates comes out and I’m talking with his mom. He shows his hand to which he has no stamp. When she asked why, he straight faced, plain as day states “I choked a kid”. I am sorry- I could not help, but laugh!
I didn’t let him see it and I shouldn’t have laughed, but he was so straight faced! At least he was honest though, right?
I had to run to the grocery store to pick up the ingredients for tomorrow’s Pampered Chef party I am hosting. In the produce section, they had one of those spinning racks with a bunch of recipe cards on it. Low and behold, my daughter (5 years old) walks over, spins it, and recipe cards fly- I mean literally take flight- through the whole produce department. Funny at first until I realized it was my child and we had to clean it up!
Oh, children…
