Jessie isn’t an “outdoor” dog per se, but she does spend a lot of time outdoors in the Arizona dessert so this was perfect for her. Hubby was put in charge of bathing her and he stated that the shampoo didn’t smell bad (compared to others we have, we are very grateful for that!) and that it lathered up nicely. After her bath, the entire house didn’t stink from her bath (again, like is usually does and again, we are ever so grateful of that!). When I smelt her later – there was no smell! She didn’t smell overly scented from shampoo and she didn’t smell dirty. She literally had no smell! And her coat was so soft! It was amazing!

The second product we got to try was the Sleep Time Tonic helps make an anxious or overly excited dog calmer. The website says that two drops into her mouth directly, in her water, or on a treat (we did on a treat) would calm her in 20 minutes. The website also states that if you use it constantly, twice a day, that it will readjust her craziness to create a calmer dog consistently. It can also be used as a one time need for fireworks, trips to the vet, etc.

We can’t say for certain that it worked, but she laid down, was yawning and napping shortly after administering it to her. And she wasn’t curled up in her usual “napping” spot, so we are going to say we safely assumed it worked! It is something we are definitely going to recommend to a friend for they over active, hyper dog (watch for a follow up on that).

Update:

We gave some of the sleepy time tonic to a friend who had a very wild, hyperactive dog on their hands. We are happy to report that the sleepy time tonic worked wonders for them and they swear by it now!
