Heelys… we’ve all seen them around on the kids. Walking by a kid who all of a sudden takes of skating by, right? Well, I was uber excited when I was given an opportunity to review Heelys… for myself!!! (Hey, I’m only 28 so I’m still a kid at heart!)

First off, I have to say, my kids (ages 5 and 3) think I am the coolest thing ever because I have Heelys. Second, I thought I was the coolest thing ever in my sharp little Heelys!

The shoes themselves were super comfortable and super fashionable. I am very picky about my shoes, colors, etc. and the pair I received were perfect! (These are the pair I received, but cannot wait to get my daughter a pair of awesome pink ones!)

And what I really liked best was that you can wear them just as shoes or add the wheels to start “heeling” (and again remove the wheels to just wear the shoes!). Which is great for me because I am still trying to get the hang of “heeling” (I did mention that I am 28, right? Not such a spring chicken anymore! LOL) And no, there will be no video of me attempting to “heeling”. I need no public embarrassment as I master the art of “heeling”.

The great part though, is that they have tutorials on how to do the whole art of “heeling”. This website here has all kinds of information, videos, etc. on how to be safe and how to actually start “heeling”. I have referenced this site several times and find it very helpful for a first time “heeler”.
