Yes, I know, I slacked on the moment of silence. In essence, I did have a moment of silence as I was still sleeping.

A lot of social media is taking an entire day of silence – I respect that.

Some are just taking the moment of silence – I respect that too.

Others are sharing posts about Sandy Hook Elementary in lieu of silence – I respect that too.

Today, Life as Leels will be taking a day of silence following this post.

Today, with our day of silence, we also remember those who were lost.

Today, we forget who did it, we do not share his name (please don’t ever share his name in my presence as I would rather forget and focus on those who deserve the attention) and we focus on those lives that were taken too soon.
