I know I’ve been totally slacking. Not so much on the Photo A Day Challenge (they’re usually up within 24 hours on Instagram), but definitely on the pregnancy updates.
As of this picture, I was one day shy of 35 weeks (as of writing this post, I am 35 weeks).
We have scheduled the c-section for the morning on February 27th so one month from today, I will have my new baby in my arms, as well as a super cool story to share – all of my children will be more on the 27th, two months apart! Buggy is December 27th, #3 will be February 27th and Buddy is April 27th. And then, add in hubby and I – we will have December, January, February, March, April! And we’re all in the 20’s – I am the 28th and hubby is the 23rd! How neat is that!?
I have definitely been more uncomfortable and sore lately. Walking has been a task. I attempted to walk a “covered” swapmeet yesterday – in the rain – in flip flops. Not my best idea. I don’t think I made it a quarter of the way before I called it quits. I was already uncomfortable and sore from the walking; every snow bird possible was there as well (one of the perks of living in Arizona during the winter); and where the floors were wet made for a very slippery situation (I nearly fell a few times!)
Everything else seems to be good. We had to go back to the perineonatologist on the 11th. My OB office did an ultrasound 2 weeks prior and could not “see” the artery that pumped blood from the heart to the lungs so we were referred back to the perineonatologist. They did an ultrasound and couldn’t see it either, but because they saw it the first time we were there (you know, for the 3 hour ultrasound) they said they weren’t worried and that wasn’t anything that should change.
Outside of her being a “big baby” everything looked healthy. On the 11th, they quoted her at being 5 pounds 13 ounces already. While I know I have big babies (Buddy was 9 pounds 15 ounces) I’m not sure I believe she is that big already, but I guess we’ll find out in a month!
