I have a confession to make.

At 30 years old, there is nothing better – nothing more comforting – than a PB and J sandwich.

I’m serious.

I have to tell you, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches get made – on average – 7 days a week in our home. No joke.

And if I happen to be out of one ingredient, he takes school lunch and reports home after school that he ate a PB&J sandwich at school for lunch (yes, that is an option at their school aside from the ‘hot’ meal they offer).

Now through November 8th, Jif Peanut Butter (a family fave since I was a kid) is running their
– challenging families across the country to create an original sandwich recipe that includes two tablespoons of your favorite Jif products!

Parents and children age 6-12 can submit their original sandwich for a chance to win a $25,000 college fund and a trip to New York City!

I was looking forward to having the kids help me come up with a creation and the most creative we got was peanut butter and banana – from Buggy AND Daddy!
