Keeping Open Communication with Teachers with Permission Pads
If there is one thing I have learned with having children in the school system – it’s keeping open communication with teachers. From behavior, to homework, to after school routines.

and I immediately fell in love and had to get some! With two kids in school plus baby girl at home, I had to have something feasible to keep my mind straight and be able to easily communicate with the teacher.
Permission Pads provide the teacher pertinent information – if your child is going home a different way than usual, if they have an appointment and will be picked up earlier, a reason for being late, or any other notes you need to send the teacher.
They have been life savers for us. With Baby Girl being sick so much (5 ear infections in 2 months and now we’re looking at tubes) we have had to have grandma pick up the kids on more than one occasion. Since Mini Me gets released from her class and usually picks up her brother to go wait in the valet line for mom or dad, it’s helpful to let the teacher know that grandma will pick them up instead.
Permission Pads really are a quick, convenient way to keep the teacher in the loop and are easy to grab when getting breakfast ready – ours have a magnet on the back so they are stuck right on our fridge door (a magnet is optional, but I figured I would lose them if they weren’t in eye sight!)
There are a variety of designs to choose from so you can pick the kids’ favorite hobby or after school program!
Permission Pads has definitely helped keep the lines of communication open this year with the teachers and it’s so much easier to jot a note than to look up their email address and hope they read their email before the end of the school day!
