My father in law is an avid fisherman so when I was provided the opportunity from the
to review a new subscription box service –
– I jumped at the opportunity. I knew it would be a gift that my father in law would love!
How It Works
Pick your plan.
You can get bass fishing, inshore saltwater fishing, or panfishing. I know that my father in law prefers to go bass fishing so I selected the bass fishing box.
You can purchase one box, three months of boxes, six months of boxes, or a year of boxes.
They ship it.
Whichever number of boxes you choose, they will be shipped on the 10th of the month.
You get it.
Your Lucky Tackle Box arrives in your mail without you ever having to get dressed and head to the store!
Our Lucky Tackle Box
Bass Fishing Lucky Tackle Box
Lucy Bug Zombie Maxx
(
) – The Zombie Maxx is a slow-falling, 9 jointed swimbait that works best when fished on a 7’0-7’6 medium-heavy action baitcasting rod with moderate-fast tip.
Bass Munitions Centipede
(which I have to admit looked a little creepy!) – The Bass Munitions Centipede is a highly versatile creature-style bait that can be rigged multiple ways effectively.
Gary Yamamoto 7.75″ Kut Tail Worm
(
) – A big worm for those BIG bites, the Yamamoto 7.75″ Kut Tail Worm is a fantastic choice for flipping and pitching around any cover.
Johnson Slama Spoons 3/4oz
(
) – Spoons are some of the most under-utilized and most effective baits for bass on the market.
Mustad Impact Spring Keeper Hook
(mustad-americas.com) – The Mustad Keeper Hook is ideal for multiple presentations and comes equipped with a spring keeper to fix your plastic trailers (such as swimbaits) to the hook.
The contents retailed over $35 and the cost of the box – for one box – is $15 plus free shipping (unless you reside outside of the US.)
To me, that is not only a great deal, but makes gift giving so much easier! I am not a fish person. I have zero clue what bait does what, how to use them, what fish can be caught with what. Clueless! So for a company to put it altogether for me and then ship it straight to myself or my gift recipient is the perfect solution!
As you can see, it also came with a fishing magazine; a sheet that describe what was in the box plus a contest; a sticker; and a business card.
Overall, I am incredibly pleased with the cost as well as the items that we received in our Bass Fishing Lucky Tackle Box. I know I will definitely be using this to purchase gifts for my father in law and any other family that fishes – it’s such a life saver!
