Mr. Pete, Where Are Your Feet? {Children’s Book Review}
Mr. Pete, a beautiful blue parakeet always hears his mom asking him where his feet are. After a while, he starts to wonder himself and goes out looking for them.
My thoughts:
This is a super cute book.
The pictures are bright and colorful which draw children in.
The only thing about the book that flustered me (and I am sure would fluster my kids) is repeating the names of each and every bird over and over again (they weren’t easy names!) but it wasn’t something that would deter me from reading the book again or letting my kids read it!
The story line is perfect and the birds are real life birds owned by the author which make the book even more fun! (At the end, you can see a picture of each real life bird!)
Overall, I think this is a great children’s book that I look forward to sharing and reading with all three of kids. I’m sure even Baby Girl at 16 months old will love it (she loves birds!)
