Last year, I did my 2012 goals. I am ashamed to admit, that out of the 4 goals I had, only one and a half of them were successful, just with different time lines.
I did not lose 70 pounds by January 1st 2013. I did manage to lose weight and then got knocked up so that went out the window. So starting March 2013 (hoping baby #3 will be born February 27th), I will be back on track to track my calories, fat, and carb intake in hopes of losing weight again. My goal is to lose 30 pounds by January 1st 2014.
I did manage to quit smoking! It was not by the time line I wanted, but it happened. In fact, I quit smoking May 27th 2012 which they are counting as my conception date (that is twice I have quit smoking and gotten knocked up within a short period of time!) My goal for 2013 is to remain smoke free and not start smoking after baby #3 is born.
I attempted this couponing thing and have found that it is not for me. So I am scrapping that altogether. I have found that I save the most money shopping my way (watch for a near future post on that).
I have not necessary spent an hour per day on blog all year. I wish. I did, however, start devoting more time to my posts in the middle of November and I have seen the pay off. My goal for 2013 is to be more organized with my blog and to keep more content in my posts that I think my readers (you) will find helpful (and please feel free to contact me if you have any suggestions you would like to see!)
In addition to being more organized, I am going to attempt the Building a Better Blog challenge again. I started it last year, but then jumped off the wagon pretty quickly. This year, I’d like to stick with it and make my blog a better place for you.
I’d like to work on my Day Zero project a little further. I feel like it has changed into a Bucket List of sorts.
Lastly, in 2013, I would like to be a better parent. I would like to find more patience, spend more time as a family doing family things together, and be the best mommy I can be for my kids.
What are your 2013 goals?
