Shortly after having my first kid, I joined a mommy group and found this world of wine.

I had never had wine, but apparently, in Arizona, wine is a thing to drink. A lot. (And after having 2 kids – I totally understand why!)

Since then, I have joined the world of wine and have found that aside from unwinding after a crazy day with kids, it also serves other good reasons!

Besides the obvious “I have kids and they drive me to drink”, here are 7 reasons to keep
on hand!

1. They are delicious wines at an incredibly reasonable price. (These 3 bottles retail at $6.99 each. I’m no wine connoisseur, but I do know that when I’m shopping for wine – prices are generally higher!)

2. They are great to cook with. (You can find some recipes on the

3. They are great to pair with foods (meals, fruit, cheese, etc.) In fact, that same link above to the recipes, has some great meals paired with CK Mondavi wines.

4. In moderation, it is actually healthy for you. I have heard and found everything from heart healthy, to eye health, to preventing diabetes. Hey – anything that is good for you is a must, right!?

5. It’s fun to celebrate with (New Year’s, birthdays… any holiday, really!) PS: Valentine’s Day is coming…

6. It’s always nice to sit down and relax with a glass of wine and a book, bubble bath, movie, or friend.

7. (And probably the most important!) It keeps me sane to deal with these kids (and hubby) every day!
