I’m going to try and read the recipe through the tomato sauce dots all over the page (hubby is not a clean cook!)

Ingredients:

1 pound ground beef (the recipe called for Italian sausage- I am not an Italian sausage kind of person so we used ground beef. I’m sure you could use ground turkey for a healthier version too!)

1 package “no boil” lasagna noodles (we may try to buy regular lasagna noodles next time because ours came out mushy- not sure if it was due to the ‘no boil’ noodles or the cook time)

12-15 ounces of Ricotta cheese

2 cups shredded mozzeralla cheese

2 jars of pasta sauce

Italian seasoning for taste


Directions:

Cook your meat over medium heat until brown.

Spray the inside of the crock pot/slow cooker with a non-stick spray. (Coat it good- hubby missed some spots and its still soaking!)

You can layer the ingredients like a typical lasagna or throw it all into the crock pot and mix.

Mix meat, cheeses, seasoning and sauce.

Layer noodles and mix.

Cover and slow cook 4-6 hours. (We did 3 hours and it was fully cooked. Noodles were mushy so we are debating whether to try different noodles or less cook time.)
