I am not that old, I know. I am only 28, but I remember life so much easier back in the day- before computers and cell phones were staple items. I just thought I would reminisce and share some of the things I remember that would be totally insane to some people these days!

-Drinking water from the water hose in the yard

-Swimming in lakes

-Old Apple computers- even old IBM computers

-Printers that used the dotted paper where you have to tear the sides off

-Literal floppy disks- remember the big black ones where you couldn’t touch the middle

-Cell phones the size of bricks

-Record players (okay, before my time, but I had one and still do!)

-Tape players

-Walkmans with the tape player

-CD walkmans

-Sending cards for holidays (not emails!- my own mother emailed me rather than send me a birthday card this year, seriously!?)

-Atari

-Sega Genesis

-The original Nintendo

I am sure that I am missing quite a bunch, but those are some big ones that jump out at me right now! What things do you remember that now days people would think you were crazy?
