Review: The Incredible Shrinking Bully e-book
Most of my readers know that I am an advocate for suicide and to me, bullying and suicide go hand in hand. I have began teaching my children about bullying and was ecstatic to be provided The Incredible Shrinking Bully e-book by Chick-E Limited.
Bart used to enjoy school, but that was before Frank the Tank began bullying him. Every time Frank bullies someone, he gets bigger. Will Bart find the courage to stop Frank, before it’s too late?
From Chick-E Limited website:
This is a picture book geared toward younger kids, in hopes of sending a positive message and opening a dialogue between kids and parents, educators, grandparents, etc. about bullying. Maybe if awareness starts early, some of the problems can be prevented later.
I couldn’t agree more!
I read this book with my daughter because one of my biggest fears is that she will be bullied or that she will be a bully (she is in kindergarten). We both enjoyed the book, but the best part was the “discussion” questions at the end of the book that helped create a discussion between my daughter and me. I think this is a very valuable book for kids and adults alike (I think adults need reminders on not bullying others too!)
