The Solution to My Kids Want a Pet: Meet #TheHappys via @LifeasLeels

We have, no joke; a dog, two cats, and a gerbil in our home. Not to mention the three kids. Yet that doesn’t stop my kids from asking for another pet! They apparently thing we live in the zoo!

So, I finally came up with the solution to my kids want a pet: Meet the Happy’s!

My kids received Chance the Beagle (who comes with a bone treat) and a tennis ball toy for Chance to play with.

Chance is one of the Happy’s – the newest toy from Cepia (the makers of Zhu Zhu Pets). The Happy’s are an adorable, interactive, motorized plush pet!

The Happy’s can do tricks, follow you, chase and play with their toy ball, spin, sit, pounce, and play! They currently have dogs and cats who do tricks for “treats”.

Baby Girl was the first one to jump in the action when we got Chance and his toys out of the packaging (please note, you will need a small head Phillip’s head screwdriver to remove your pet from the packaging as well as batteries. The Happy’s pets require 2 AAA batteries.)

Now, I have to share – Baby Girl’s play area is in our living room and this is her:

You see all those toys? You see that yellow ball inside the star? That is the Chase and Play ball that we got with Chance! She stole it!

She was enthralled with that ball and she liked Chance. That was until he chased down the cat and Daddy.

My big kids haven’t had much of a chance to really play with Chance, but they have enjoyed him so far.

We have been using him on the carpet where he moves fairly well, but he does tend to get stuck. We don’t have a lot of hard flooring in our home just yet, so we are going to take him over to Grandma and Grandpa’s house to play and see what he can really do.

I will say, I was very impressed that he goes forwards, backwards, and spins around. There is a reception type thing emitted between the chase and play ball and Chance, so when we put the ball on the floor, Chance came to it and started pushing it across the floor.

We are still mastering the tricks with the remote, but I’m sure we will get that once we’re on hard wood flooring at the kids’ grandparents house.

Make sure you check back to see the video of Chance the Beagle and the kids to see what tricks they teach him!
