I have to admit, I have always been kind of a tomboy and not very girly. I was never into skirts or dresses (and even now, the one skirt I wear has shorts underneath it. And no, it’s not a skort!) I do my makeup, but its very minimal. I don’t like getting dressed up – I’m good in pants and a t-shirt. I would rather wear flip flops than heels (besides prom, I have never worn heels). I’m just not a girly girl. But…

…there are two things I cannot live without – purses and nail polish!

I have a slight purse addiction that I have to keep alive and as for the nail polish…

…I have very naturally long growing nails. I always have. People say it’s because I consume so much milk (the vitamin E). It may be, but all I know is that I have naturally long growing nails that I like to make sure look nice.

Hence, I have a large collection of nail polish and I could not, not partake in the Spring Polish Swap with

I received my polish first (because I’m a procrastinator like that).

I have to admit (and for the record, she claimed it first in her card) that I wasn’t sure about the color.

It’s just kind of this awkward color. It’s gray, but not gray. It’s sort of got a pinkish tint, but a purple tint, but gray, but not gray. I really wasn’t sure what to think.

I tried it on immediately and I have to admit, I liked it. I liked it alot, but was I was still kind of in awe of it and wasn’t sure what to make of it. (PS: It is called Gray-t Escape in case you were wondering.)

Last weekend, I decided to do my nails all pretty (and did Buggy’s) and decided to do the entire hand (rather than two fingers) to really give the color a try. (Don’t mind the fact that I’m hand modeling a product – focus on the nails!)

I love it!

I am very much a pink girl, but I think this might be my new favorite color! Thank you so much Stephanie for introducing me to a new color (and fashion trend!)
