My Thoughts:

I was hooked on this book the second I started reading it.

The book starts with Toni leaving prison – but you don’t know right away the who, the what, the when, the why, the how.

Each chapter is a different time frame, but I did not find it hard to keep track of at all. The chapters bounced between 1996 when everything happened, to 1998, to current (2013). So long as you took note of the date on the chapter, there was no issue figuring where you were in the story.

I hated putting this book down and could not read it fast enough to find out what happened, who did it, why they did it, etc.

I love a good “murder mystery” book and this was exactly that – a “who done it” type read.

I definitely didn’t have this one 100% figured out and was surprised by the ending – it wasn’t predictable like one would have expected.

If you are into the murder mystery type reads, I think you’ll like this one.
