As a blogger, I have many deadlines to meet. Not to mention keeping track of school work, appointments for myself, appointments for hubby, appointments for baby, school activities for the kids, church activities for the kids and everything else that goes on in our crazy life.
While I consider myself tech savvy, I find that I prefer the good old fashioned pen and paper route to keep myself organized.
is a website where you can custom design your very own planner.
Initially, I was going to make my mother-in-law a planner. She keeps those purse size planners in her purse at all times to keep track of birthdays and appointments so I thought it would be great to get her one for a Christmas gift.
Lucky for me, Nana already gave all her girls (my mother-in-law and her sisters) purse calendars so I decided to order one for myself since 2013 is coming to an end and I’m already scheduling 2014 deadlines!
Tidbits about Personal – Planner:
Planners range in price from $18.95 – $21.95
Additionally, the planners come in four different sizes.
It is customizable!
*On the outside you can upload pictures from your desktop or Instagram and you can design front & back covers, change images, font color and background.
*On the inside you can pick which month/year you want the planner to begin with (nice if you need a new planner in the middle of a year or want to gift one to someone in the middle of a year), design writing space details (i.e. “work”, “workout”, “weather”, etc., include personal calendar dates throughout the year, and at check out you can choose discreet packaging if planner is a gift.
I was going to upload my blog logo to the planner, but it only accepts .jpg and unfortunately, I only had a .png on hand and didn’t feel like messing with it.
Instead, I chose one of their backgrounds (and there are plenty designs and colors to choose from!)
Because I’m using it for my blog, I decided to label it with my blog name and the year I’m using it for.
I was able to choose the header design at the top (again, several different designs and colors to choose from) as well as the actual calendar layout.
Additionally, I was able to custom choose what goes across the footer. I choose two to-do lists (I’m always making check off lists anyway) and a note section. The calendar and the blank box are preset to the planner already.
The filler pages are another great aspect – you can customize them with several different options! I choose previews for 2015, Soduko to pass the time, and blank pages for notes because I felt these would serve me best for my needs.
Whether it is for you or someone else in your life, Personal – Planner customized planners are perfect!
