Okay, so now that all the warnings have been put in place, let’s continue.

This weekend marked the Occupy Phoenix. I really wanted to take part, but that was just not in the cards for me today (hubby came home from work early and ended up making an ER visit for him and my son. Both are fine- for now. They think one has a sinus infection that has caused massive swelling in his neck/glands and the other one has ring worm, joy).

Now, I am not the most educated when it comes to politics and I do not generally follow them very closely, but I do have common sense. I am the type of gal who wouldn’t mind going back to the days where there was no electricity, there was no running water, we hunted for food, lived in log cabins, etc. Life was much simpler. Our current nation is a joke. It really is. And where do I start with the problems!?

Let’s start with the economy. Why is it that the president makes over $400,000 per year!? He is so concerned about the economy- why doesn’t he put some of his money into the economy? Who’s money gets used to pay his salary, his benefits, his life long secret service. That’s a joke. And congress continues to get paid when they are no longer in congress… another joke. They get all these special treatment things (social security, retirement, etc). Who’s money is paying for that? Ours. Hard working, tax paying American citizens, that’s who.

I really do believe there is a conspiracy within our government. So many things can be cured and solved with simple common sense yet the government insists on doing things the more costly and difficulty ways and running our country to the ground.

I really could go on and on and on, but I just wanted to voice simple matters and say that I agree with the Occupy Wall Street movement. I think we as the people need to stand up and fight for our rights. The government was created for the people, by the people. We are no longer getting a say in what happens. Just because we vote someone into government- our say stops there. It is time we fight back and let our voices be heard.

Just sayin.
