You have to love commercials during the holiday time. Every toy commercial that comes on, Buggy and Buddy are both hollering that they want that or to put it on their Christmas list.

One of the things they kept asking for was a
, so when I received one to review, we went out that same day and purchased another so they both could have one.

I have to admit, I was a little skeptical of these, but we have found some great uses for their Flashlight Friends!

1. They keep the monsters away.

2. They help read in bed (when you’re really supposed to be sleeping).

3. They guide the way in the middle of the night when you have to use the bathroom.

4. They are just plain fun.

The kids love their Flashlight Friends and I must admit, they really are not that bad.

We have purchased the kids their own flashlights to keep in bed in the past, but Flashlight Friends takes away the boring old flashlight and gives you something fun and cuddly!

The light is super bright and they turn off on their own after they are left on for so long.

You push the light on the tummy to power the light on and off and there is a strap on their backs to use as a “handle” of sorts.

The strap to Buddy’s penguin broke within a couple of hours, but the strap on Buggy’s unicorn is still in one piece. (I’m sure it has nothing to do with Buddy rough housing everything he owns, right!?)

The website offers six different animals – unicorn, penguin, turtle, puppy, panda, and dragon – but when we were at the store looking for Buddy’s; we only saw the unicorn, penguin and puppy (lucky for us, Buddy had his heart set on the penguin anyway).
