Special Delivery For Baby from Citrus Lane – Life as Leels

I hate big surprises, but I like receiving little surprises… like presents in the mail. Or a box of items that I am sure to love, but don’t know what they are until they get here. (And secretly I enjoy shopping… so long as it’s not for me.)

When I found a subscription service that not only sent me a box of surprise thing, but let me shop for baby (see, not me) I was in heaven. Citrus Lane was the perfect thing for me!

Citrus Lane is a subscription box service… and much more!

Baby Girl and I got a December subscription box:

Notice those little hands sneaking up? And the hand and eyes in the top pic? She was grabbing things faster than I could snap a photo! She enjoyed this box full of items that were just for her!

Our box included four items.

Handprint Keepsake

from Pearhead

This is a “no-mix, air-drying clay” that is “very forgiving so if you make a mistake, no problem. You can redo it over and over until it’s right – no baking, no mess”. As you can see, we haven’t used it yet. The big kids started this sickness on December 23rd that lasted for two months between the 5 of us. By the time we all got better, the holiday season was over so I have stashed it with our Christmas stuff to make next year to hang on my tree!

Barnyard Animals Jumbo Knob Puzzle

from Melissa and Doug

See the little hands again? Trying to steal it before I could take a photo!

This puzzle has huge knobs that are easy for little hands to grab. It only has three pieces and they are large pieces so it’s easy for her to use. She hasn’t quite grasped the concept of putting the pieces back into the puzzle board, but she is loving the puzzle none the less! The colors are bright and vibrant as well as have animals that we love!

Cleo in the Snow

from Barefoot Books

Cleo in the Snow is a board book and is Baby Girl’s first book! She loves pulling brother and sister’s books off the bookshelf and sitting on the floor flipping through the pages, but now she has her own book that is all her own! Sister read it to her and Baby Girl has been carrying it around with her every since I handed it to her! I definitely think this was her favorite item in the entire box!

Snuggly Lotion

by Episencial

Episencial uses organic ingredients and their “entire line is safe for children and good for the planet”. It is supposed to be a non-greasy lotion, but I have to say – it was a little on the greasy side. I am not a huge fan of lotion and am really picky so I may not be the best person ask. If you are not that picky with lotion, you would probably enjoy this one. Buggy used some and she liked it. And it had a slight (very slight) scent of cherry.
