My name is Leila (LEE-la). I have been married for since August 2005, although we have been together since December 2003. I am the mommy of two fun loving, sometimes awful, but always beautiful children. My daughter (Buggy) turned 6 in December and my son (Buddy) will turn 4 in April.

I was born and raised in Minnesota before moving to Wisconsin with my best friend. Unfortunately, Wisconsin is worse than Minnesota so after two months, we went back to Minnesota for ten days, packed up my car and moved to Arizona in March of 2003. I have been here ever since. I met my husband here in Arizona and have built my happy little family here in Arizona. With our little family, we have two cats (Lil Stinker and Baby Jax) and our dog (Jessie).

I have tried my hand at blogging many times, but never really got into it. I have always been a writer. I began blogging again in July of 2011 as a means to of using social media for a small business. It did not take long for that idea to go out the window, but for my blogging to become something more serious. Initially, it was a very random blogging experience. I blogged about anything and everything, but with the start of the new year, I am vowing to create a niche and be a family blogger.

My intentions are to share with you the happy times and sad times of being a family, a mommy, and a parent. I want to share with you parenting tips that I have learned along the way. I want to share family friendly recipes and kid related crafts. I want to share reviews that are family oriented and provide my readers with a thank you every now and then with giveaways! I am hoping that even if you are not a parent, you will still find joy in my writing and laugh along with our funny stories!
